F1 driver uses 700-foot-high helicopter pad to do stupid car tricks

Donuts 700-feet in the air? Seems like a good idea.
Former Formula One driver David Coulthard went to Dubai and somehow found something more intense than being a Formula One driver. Coulthard, who is now a commentator, performed donuts on a helipad atop of the Burj Al Arab hotel, almost 700-feet above the ground.

“When Red Bull first suggested the idea to me I said ‘why not?’,” David Coulthard said.

Apparently, the question was rhetorical because there are so many reasons “why not.” Nevertheless, Coulthard went through with the stunt in celebration of Red Bull’s fourth consecutive Formula One Drivers and Constructor’s Championship in India.

“I like getting involved with anything that pushes the boundaries and it’s what Red Bull stands for,” Coulthard said. “I think this will produce fantastic, iconic shots in an amazing town and I’m really privileged to be part of it.”

Mission accomplished, David.
