2013 Champions League finalist Borussia Dortmund didn’t get off to a great start in its group stage opener against Napoli Wednesday evening. Goalkeeper Roman Weidenfeller was sent off in the first half after clattering into Gonzalo Higuain outside the penalty area.
The goal made Dortmund manager Jurgen Klopp very, very angry.
Klopp was sent off for intimidating the official. Just before halftime, Dortmund goalkeeper Roman Weidenfeller was sent off in the first half after handling the ball outside the penalty area. We imagine the mood in the Dortmund locker room at halftime was less than jovial.
