Liverpool striker Daniel Sturridge has been ruled out of England's World Cup 2014 qualifier in Ukraine on Tuesday with a thigh injury.
Sturridge, 24, returned to his club side for treatment before Friday's 4-0 win against Moldova, and has not recovered in time for the trip to Kiev.

No replacement will be called up.
Injuries to Wayne Rooney and Andy Carroll, plus the suspension of Danny Welbeck, had already left manager Roy Hodgson short of striking options.
Sturridge's withdrawal, after aggravating a thigh problem in last Sunday's victory against Manchester United, leaves Rickie Lambert and Jermain Defoe as the only available recognised front-men.
The Liverpool striker has been in exceptional form since making the switch to Anfield from Chelsea in January, scoring 17 goals in 22 appearances.
He has begun this season with five goals in only four games in all competitions, with this run including the solitary goal in each of Liverpool's 1-0 Premier League victories.
Speaking after the win against Moldova at Wembley, Hodgson bemoaned the situation after Welbeck incurred a one-match ban for a second booking in the qualifying campaign, to join Rooney, who has a cut to his head, and Carroll, who has a heel problem, on the sidelines.
"The thing that is a major, major negative is, after losing two centre-forwards of great quality, I have now lost a third one for a second booking," he told BBC Radio 5 live.
England top Group H on goal difference, after Montenegro drew 1-1 in Poland, and are a point ahead of third-placed Ukraine after playing the same number of games.
